Martin Luther King Jr. Once said: An" injustice anywhere is a threat against justice everywhere." For the past 18 years, Antonio Jones has been confined at a maximum security prison for a crime he was framed of.In (2004) and again in (2011), Antonio Jones was framed by Detective, Michael J. Jackson, Chief Lake County, Indiana Prosecutor, Bernard A. Carter/Office and the State's only witness Lenzo (Thirst) Aaron, lll, of a quadruple homicide that he did not commit.

There was absolutely no physical evidence linking Jones, to the scene of the crime. No blood no ballistics evidence, no murder weapons, no DNA, or any other witness except for the false and perjured testimony by Lenzo Aaron place Jones at the scene of the crime. Moreover, Jones had an alibi witness placing him (Jones) on a ride to East-Chicago, Indiana with him committing the crime.

Aaron, on the other hand, ignored the evidence and sided with Aaron because he was best-friends with Aaron's father. Chief Prosecutor, Carter ignored the evidence and framed Jones because he has a history of framing innocent men of color, despite being a black man. This Petition is calling on the Department of Justice and Indiana Governor, Eric Holcomb to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Jones's case and the Lake County Prosecutor's Office, as well as the Gary Police Department and all parties involved. We must stand up against injustice in Indiana!
