Fresh Food Not Fast Food

Fresh Food Not Fast Food
As more people stay inside we tend to order delivery more often, with the rise of food delivery services and the lack of fresh groceries available in these poorer communities, it often leads to unhealthy choices in their diet. Healthy foods are significantly less available in these neighborhoods, in the produce that is available tends to be of poor quality in low-income areas. The current economic condition places the poor at the highest risk for unhealthful diets obesity and obesity-related diseases. What we need in these communities, is more access to these fresher vegetables and to ensure that stores and undeserved neighborhoods provide healthy options to Consumers at an affordable price. I propose that the city of Los Angeles hold farmer markets at local parks in these underserved neighborhoods, where people can get these groceries for an affordable price and of great quality.
