The MYS mission statement mentions equal opportunity for all players, but the culture does not support this. One example is use of the turf field. In 5th, 6th & 7th/8th grade in MYS, only the A & B teams get to use the turf field at Plymouth St. as their home field. All of the C teams are assigned to grass fields. Another example is last minute roster changes/additions which do not impact all teams at a grade level equally. Please help me level the playing field (pun intended!) for our Mansfield youth athletes!
