For the last couple years equine Canada has been moving towards forcing all equine coaches to get licensing and certification to train / coach at horse shows or in general. They are trying to weed out the “ non “ professionals they say … but in all truth, literally anyone can still obtain these levels of certification and licensing. This is purely a way for equine Canada to line their pockets and in no way benefits the professionals in this sport. Not one other country requires this sort of licensing and certification in the sport.
