Equality the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, or opportunities. Hoërskool Lydenburg lacks the meaning of equality, “ Hoërskool is a safe racism free school” how must us black people be able to believe that when a white student Mieke-Lee Bam cheats with so much ease and with the help of a teacher Mam Flauds then gets no punishment and we are told that “she made a mistake.” Then she is granted an opportunity to go on an academic tour?! The same student who cheated on an academic term test and got no punishment is going on an academic tour? Rude comments towards black student are made by their white peers and teachers about their natural hair  “kaffir hare” telling them they don’t deserve to be in their “white property “ school. Telling young black females that they are “advertising” themselves. When students go and report to head of discipline Mr Brietenbach “we will investigate” nothing was ever done. Black students  are being called the most detrimental name to refer a black African”kaffir” by their white peers. When reported all they were asked to do by Mr Brietenbach head of discipline is to give an empty meaningless apology for being RACIST. nothing will ever be done as long as you are quiet. That’s why these students develop anxiety because of this nonsense. And you are watching it happen. Things need to change and this is what we want 

• Mieke-Lee Bam must be off the academic tour

• Equality between white and black students 

• More black members on the SGB

• Black teachers must also be given an opportunity to teach in Hoërskool Lydenburg 

• A public apology from Hoërskool Lydenburg to the black students and parents 

• Mam Aucamp the most racist of them all MUST STEP DOWN.
