Like many other great and caring dads, I feel the present system when a father and mother part, do not represent the needs of their child/children.

It should be 50/50 access unless given a reason for it not to be. Children need both parents in their life. Fathers should not have to live in fear of having the time with their children reduced or taken away.

The present system through the child maintenance service is also unfair, the system does not take into account the outgoing, bills, debts into consideration therefore leaving most in a impossible financial situation. They also do not consider the income and outgoing's of the receiving parent. This plus they make a decision on how much you owe based on your income BEFORE tax. No matter what you say to the CSA they will not listen and you are made out to be and treated like a criminal. 

The effect of such treatment has a bigger effect on dads who have already lost time with their children and puts a lot of dads into financial stress and depression both of which has a knock on effect on their children. To many men see no other way out other than suicide and to many children are losing their dads for good. 

In a world where we strive for equality, this has to be one of the biggest inequality's in modern day life. To many men not only lose their world but they are punished further by the authorities and it makes it even harder rebuild their life's, its time for a change.
