The problem is gender inequality in the workplace. As a teenage girl soon to enter the workplace as an adult, I am concerned with the following: uneven compensation, meaning unequal pay, disparities in promotions, higher rates of sexual harassment, and gendered racism. All of these occur in the workplace. Some of this is due to policy, but prejudice also manifests itself in more subtle ways such as less possibilities for moms and a higher rate of burnout in women. This affects all of us. Gender equality in the law must be strengthened, and gender-based discrimination must be eliminated! Share and sign in support of all girls and women in the workplace!
