The people who are affected by this situation are women. It is a known fact that to this day women do not get paid fairly to men. For every dollar a man makes women only get 0.89 cents. It also depends on your nationality for example black women 0.63 cents compared to men. WE are in 2022 and there is a pay gap of 0.11 cents. That means that women earn 2.83 dollars less per hour in Canada.

My solution is that companies should have legislation. There should basically be a law in Canada where companies have to pay their employees equally. So if there's a law about it companies wouldn't want to take a risk to pay women less because they wouldn't want to get fined.

My petition is targeting women, and companies maybe even people that make laws. Mainly women because they are the ones who are affected by the wage gender gap.

GET INVOLVE! If this doesn't get solved women will still be unfairly paid . We need your help ASAP. WE DESERVE EQUAL PAY!

This impacts us as strong women because men think that we belong in the house cleaning. So they do not believe we earn that 0.11 cents because men think we are not as hard working. After thorough research on many websites and articles , I've found out that women work eighteen times harder than men.
