Houseparty brought me and my friends together through the pandemic. It changed our lives and it’s an app we use everyday. Not only has house-party changed our lives but also the lives of millions of other dedicated users. Other users and I  have been given the opportunity to connect with people from across the world and make connections for life.

Today I heard the news that houseparty was being cancelled and me and my friends were distraught. For months I have spoken to my friends using this app and in October we won’t be able to experience this luxury again. Yes, we could use FaceTime or messenger but houseparty is different. Houseparty brings opportunities like no other video calling app. There are games, karaoke, background effects and so much more. My friends and I have so many memories on houseparty. So many other users have messaged us telling us their houseparty stories and what they will miss.

If epic games decided to keep this app it would mean the world to so many people. But yet epic games has decided to discontinue houseparty due to other projects. What could possibly be so important that epic games feels the need to cancel one of their apps. Epic games please reconsider your decision of discontinuing houseparty. Millions of people would be so grateful❤️
