Many people rejected the new control settings that were added to the game a while back. While some made the jump to the new ones, there were several that would hit the magical button known as “Use Legacy Controls.” This was a dream come true for some. It seems that the PC players that are going against console players have complained about the aim assist they have. At the end of the day, cross platform lobbies should be a choice. If the aim assist is so unfair, then the PC players should be able to turn off cross platform play and just like console players should be able to do for PC platforms. The problem wasn’t from the snap aiming style of legacy controls but from Linear aiming form the new controls. Regardless, there are no complaints if the two peripherals, keyboard & mouse vs controllers aren’t forced to go against each other. It should be a choice; just like using legacy controls that people have used for 3 years(since launch). Removing choice removes players, and even worse, fans. The suggestion is to keep Legacy Controls and make cross-platform matchmaking a choice.
