I’m tired of it. I’m tired of practicing hours and hours of a skill which is aiming to be the best and then still get out gunned by a controller player who has played for a couple of months and for me who has put in 10+ hours a day and has played for a year+. This isn’t happening just to me, it’s the whole mouse and keyboard player community. Ever since the new aim options were added to Fortnite, controller players have been dominating the competitive scene in online events. They’ve been placing top 10 in every single tournament in every single region. Controller players try to defend themselves saying that it’s hard for them since they have “joysticks”. If it’s so hard then why do they not switch themselves to mouse and keyboard. I’ve switch myself from playing on a controller for a year and it was the best decision of my life. Learning mouse and keyboard isn’t even hard it’s all muscle memory and putting the practice in. But even after all that you can still get out gunned by a controller player who barely plays the game now. “Doesn't matter what game, having players that have a literal robot (aim-assist) in the same lobby as players who don't is flat out anti competitive. I will never understand "esports" that allow both simultaneously. Having a robot react for you puts you ~170ms+ ahead at all times” - xQc
