Glendale California City residents face the fact that Glendale City Council wants to look at a "Pilot " Dockless Electric Scooter program. 1,000 Bird e-scooter will hit the streets of Glendale this Spring if there is no resistance to the idea.

This roll-out of e-scooters in Glendale has a serious injury and or liability problem attached to it for scooter riders, bicyclist, pedestrians, business owners, property owners, car or truck drivers and the city itself. In the Bird & Lime user agreements they state that injuries are a very real possibly and hold themselves blameless once user hits "agree" button to unlock the scooter.

If pilot program passes surely there will be accidents and very serious consequences in many cases. No amount of regulations will stop this from happening....it's happened in virtually every city they has landed.

This potential e-scooter pilot program roll-out needs to be voted down at the meeting when comes to the City Council for vote in near future, most likely early spring 2019.

As a concerned 31 year resident of the city of Glendale & a former basketball instructor for the city for sum 13 years, i do not like the idea of people getting seriously injured and this opens the very real possibility for such an occurence where there is really no immediate need for these scooters.
