Daily people use cleaning products and laundry detergent but unfortunately many of them are toxic and poisonous, harming our air and water. The effect of cleaning products on the environment is wide ranging. Some chemicals in many cleaners are common pollutants that contribute to smog, reduce the quality of drinking water and are toxic to animals. People should focus on this issue more as it is swept under the rug when it is an issue we can easily fix. By switching to using plant based cleaning products that do not harm the environment but do the same thing as apposed to ones that do harm the environment.
