Save Ghana before future generations are forced to face the consequences

Many technological manufacturers in the United States are disposing electronic waste in ways that are harmful to the environments and populations of lesser developed countries. Waste is wrongfully being dumped into landfills in other areas, such as Ghana and Hong Kong. Toxins and radioactive materials are infiltrating the water, soil and air in regions that surround the dumps. Some recycling companies are falsely advertising their means of recycling; those means involve irresponsibly recycling through exportation. Congress needs to enact a federal law, and we need to place priority upon this subject once again before communities are submerged in electric toxins. Consumers are the first step to change to educate themselves and utilize eStewards to ensure that they are contributing to responsible recycling.
