Current sea levels are rising at more than twice the rate than the start of the 20th century and in the last 20 years more than 50% of the coral reefs have been destroyed!! :((

Straws are one of the main reasons for the coral reef demise!!

Coral reefs,the heart of the ocean is being destroyed! Plastic,tourists,overfishing, and costal effects are factors in destroying our coral reefs.

Help save our coral reefs by getting this petition to the US environment department to make a national no straw day! Just for that one day we can stop so many straws from destroying our coral reefs.

We need to act now before it's too late, for my generation and for later generations. We all owe this to ourselves for a beautiful blue ocean. Even though we can't stop climate change, we can slow it down by keeping our oceans healthy
 If the ocean is in unbalanced the earth will be too. We need to start with the little things like not using straws so please help me make a difference in something i believe in so much: our earth!
