Call for Environmental Minster and Green Party leader to enforce the end of plastic bag use in market and supermarket fruit and veg sections.
How are we still allowing single use, or infact any plastic use in grocery shopping? It has been banned from check-out yet is still so abundantly used in fruit and veg sections.
An easy alternative and solution is already somewhat available by using the small paper bags widely available for loose mushroom purchase - Lets get more paper bag options and/or at the very least enforce the use of the rarely seen fully biodegradable "plastic" option.
This must be one of the easiest ways to reduce environmental impact and ease up on the very real waste and recycle problem.
