Mar 14, 2018 — Not only has this petition reached 103,000 signatures, a local community group, Aotearoa Water Action (AWA) is legally challenging the Belfast permits.
See tonight’s NewsHub story online, with Patrick Gower.
Due to the cost of legal action, AWA is seeking help from the public, by asking for donations towards its legal fees.
Costs will likely be in the region of $45,000.
