ENOUGH: National School Walkout Against Gun Violence
0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!
On March 14th 2018, students in schools across the country are walking out of class at 10 a.m. This will last for 17 minutes in remembrance of the 17 lives lost one month ago in the Parkland, Florida school shooting. The aim of the walkout is to influence lawmakers to take action against gun violence. The issue of gun violence, especially in our schools, is an issue that directly concerns every student in the country. If we want things to change, we must take action and show those who have the power to change these laws that we are concerned about our futures. We deserve to be safe in our schools. Prout students, faculty, staff, family, and friends we urge you to stand behind us and support this peaceful, nationwide protest by signing this petition. With enough signatures, we can present this petition to The Prout School Administration and take part in this movement, helping to end gun violence.
