Currently, Denmark has the Danish Language requirements to qualify for the Permanent Resident in Denmark.

Since English language is very widely used and accepted in Denmark, the country should also include English language as an alternative to Danish language requirements for the qualification of Permanent Residence.

The applicants should be able to take an international English language test like TOEFL, IELTS, etc. and meet the language requirements by passing the test. This way, more people will be encouraged to choose Denmark as their permanent residence, which will be a win-win for everybody.

The Danish Language requirements will still be intact for the Danish Citizenship process.
