Make 'The Willow Disco and Bar' an English Heritage site

It has been announced that The Willow will be closing permanently on Sunday 26th July, 2015 after 43 long years of providing fine dining and clubbing (and only clubbing since they lost their food licence) for the students (and sometimes Hen parties, when they flirted with the bouncers) of the City of York.
If this closure goes ahead, York's night-life will be permanently ruined as all that will be left will be a choice of generic nightclubs that can be found in any large town or small city.
Therefore, I believe we should petition English Heritage to designate The Willow as an official 'living' heritage site, so that this institution is preserved as a functioning nightclub and so that tourists can come to marvel at the grotty toilets, the sticky walls, the cramped bar area and the cheesy music.
