Our rights as pensioner and disabilities adults over the age of 60+ to keep the right to  have FREE prescription charges just like Scotland do and they are still apart of the United Kingdom. We as over 60’s have worked all our lives some have been through wars disasstera covid etc and the last couple of years troubles which has been very hard on us and everyone else to. Why do I pay my National Insurance Contributions for all these years and every other over 60’s adult and the ones who have not reached the age yet. To have it stopped now in life. I alone am on 7/8 tablets daily as my GP and consultants tell me I need them for my body to work properly , and this I’m sure will be the same for others to. If it’s not bad enough that the likes of food, gas electric prices are going up ridiculously, council tax I’m sure will be the same. Please please the powers that be don’t do this to with stopping free prescriptions as like myself due to all these costs I will have to stop most of my tablets to be able to pay all the other bills to keep roofs over our heads and to stay warm through cold winters etc I alone cannot stop this I am hoping other will pass this around to all there friends and family to make the right people stand up and stop this ridiculous idea, also I heard yesterday they are also talking about taking away our freedom passes and other free transport passes. Please please think again why is it the over 60’s have to pay the price for governmentally misgivings and bad decisions over the years and it’s so wrong that Scotland have so many things free and us as the people of England do not or are about to lose them once again.
