Warren Bartholomew started this petition to English Football Association

This weekend sees Wembley hosting the FA Community Shield, which is the annual curtain-raiser for the new football season.

This year, the match will be contested between Manchester City (last season's English premier league champions) and Liverpool (who were runners-up to Manchester City in the English premier league by just one point)

However, the two clubs will only receive an allocation of 28,000 each for this match this is despite the stadium's capacity being 90,000.

So where are the rest of the 34,000 tickets going???

I know that this ridiculous situation also occurs for other big football matches held at Wembley Stadium, such as the FA Cup Final and League Cup final.

A very dear friend of mine, who is a lifelong Liverpool fan, has been trying her very best to get a ticket for this match and has been unsuccessful, and I am sure that she is not the only one.

I am therefore calling on the FA to change its policy on ticket allocation for major football matches at Wembley stadium so that ordinary fans can attend, and make these games a true spectacle for our beloved national game, and not just another junket for the corporates.

The FA need to remember that the game without fans is nothing.

Please help me put pressure on the FA to give these games back to the real fans
