Ben Stokes to be made available for Ashes selection

Ben Stokes is awaiting charges following an alleged assault in Bristol. While he awaits knowledge of if he should be prosecuted he has been suspended from the England cricket team.
One of the great things about this country is the justice system whereby accused are innocent until proven guilty. Whilst Ben would be the first to admit his alleged actions are highly disappointing, there appears to be a strong defense that he was defending a couple suffering from homophobic abuse.
Ben has already been forced to miss out on two ODI matches and ashes match, a devastating punishment already for a player at the top of the game. For context, this is already comparable to the two test suspension for Australian David Warner who punched English captain at the start of the previous ashes campaign.
Making Ben Stokes available for selection would be a major boost for England down under, and even if Ben were to be charged with the assault he would have time to complete any ongoing match, and probably the series before being required in England.
It is not the English way to punish people for trial by media, and England need to get Ben Stokes back in the Ashes team before the Aussies take an unassailable lead in the series!
