Engage the NZ Police re. the facilitation of bullying on their Social Media platforms

This petition is to be shared with the Independent Police Conduct Authority to outline that there is great public concern regarding the treatment of alleged offenders on their Social Media Platforms.
There have been numerous posts by the Canterbury Police searching for offenders in the community, where it acts as a platform for members of the community to bully and humiliate the offenders.
Our goal is to ask the New Zealand Police to reconsider how they approach their search for offenders.
Potential solutions include but could not be limited to,
- Changing their Facebook pages to groups to be able to disallow comments by the public.
- Having a diverse and encompassing list of keywords to be banned by the page.
We live in a society where we struggle immensely with mental health and cyber-bullying. This is "illegal" but somehow permitted on the subsidiary pages of the NZ Police.
Please share with your friends or family that may agree this is something that needs to be changed.
