A sign of hope?
Sep 3, 2017 — I am as overwhelmed by the many reactions to yesterday's news as I was already by the many, many mails sent by you to the Grupo Pinero asking for a decision in favor of a cat spay and neuter campaign. Thank you all! Today I am particularly happy to share the information of Dr. Jay Marriam from Massachusetts with you: "Our Veterinary group Project Samana (www.projectsamana.org) actually has spayed and neutered many cats at the Grand Bahaia in Samana, always at the request of staff. Since the change of ownership we have continued doing this on our 3 x yearly trips." This is a great, wonderful sign of progress and hope! May all the other resorts follow this bright example for the sake of the animals as well as guaranteeing the animal lovers among their guests a happy vacation!
