I have taught ACLS for over 25 years to nurses, respiratory therapists, doctors and paramedics students. Doctors, respiratory and paramedics do intubations. It is a skill that is very important, especially out in the field. Paramedics have saved thousands upon thousands of lives over the last several decades, due to being able to intubate the patient and maintain their airway on the way to the hospital!

This is necessary. Used a lot in the field. Who's the idiot who wants to remove it. Hope they never need to be tuned. Btw this is done a lot in the ER and not by anesthesiologists but by regular doctors. Paramedics are highly trained for field work.

This is a life saving measure that should not have to be withheld until the patient gets to the hospital. Paramedics are first on scene. Let them do the job they are trained to do.
