Women all over Canada have to spend tons of money on feminine hygiene products every month. Especially in the Northwest Territories. In Northern communities, women can spend up to $45 on menstrual products. Living in the North has made me realize how real this is for women in my community. It has largely impacted under housed women who don’t have the funds to pay for hygiene products. By making this petition, I hope to shed light on the issues women face in the Northwest Territories and all over Canada
