I was so upset about the saga of the child marriage bill in Tennessee (that was removed by amendment) I looked up the laws in Connecticut. It turns out that with the proper permissions signed by judicial approval and parental consent a 13 year old could be legally married. A 13 year old. 

This is mind-boggling. 

I'm contacting my state rep, Michael Quinn, to work to get this law changed. 

No child marriage in Connecticut. 

In the meantime, help end child marriage in CT by signing this petition, and please share to show this won't be acceptable in the 21st century.
