Whereas, we the students of Mundelein High School, have not had a normal day of school since the current seniors were only halfway through sophomore year, making the current seniors the only class to have a full normal school year and, 

Whereas, in only 2 years since 2 weeks to slow the spread, with the majority of kids who catch COVID-19 being “proper” mask wearers, and if the majority of the school is vaccinated, and if the vaccine is so effective makes the students wonder why they are still in place and,

Whereas, the testing requirements at the school are discriminatory, only athletes have to test which are among the healthiest members of the student body while the band does not have to test and,

Whereas, Sangamon County Judge Raylene Grischow declared the governor’s mandates “null and void,” and stating that unnamed districts like D120 should “govern themselves accordingly,” and, 

Whereas, neither the distinct nor school have provided scientific evidence on their “according governance” and why they choose to keep the mandates after they were nullified by the court, 

Whereas, we the students respectfully request to be treated with dignity and respect while exercising our First Amendment rights, and ensuring our protections under the Fourteenth,

Therefore, we the student body at Mundelein High School have officially been traumatized, our high school years irreparably damaged beyond any reasonable compensation, our health being affected also, politely ask the administration to revisit the illegal policies that they follow with thought and care while making masks optional at least during the revisitation period at the end of which, a full report with facts and evidence will be provided to all counsel, staff members, parents and students.
