End the hunger season in Zambia
In Zambia, the months of November through February are called the hunger season. Heifer International has launched a project committed to stopping this season before it starts. Our goal is to supply 1,500 Zambian farmers, 60% of whom are women, with the resources and training they need to feed and support their families. Pledge to end the hunger season for one family by buying a share of a goat for $10 now.
Heifer International will help 1,500 families in the Chipata and Katete districts improve household income, increase food security, and strengthen economic resilience. Make a pledge today to donate a $10 share of a goat and you will play a crucial role in empowering these families to climb out of poverty -- and stay out of poverty.
Sign this pledge to commit to supporting these families now.
In Zambia, the four months of November through February are known as the hunger season.
I want to help change that.
I pledge to donate $10 to purchase a share of a goat for a Zambian family in need. My contribution, combined with those of others, will give this family the tools and training they need to lift themselves out of poverty and hunger.
