A pig farm just outside of Canberra continues to operate despite having been found guilty of gross animal cruelty by the RSPCA 3 months ago.

Footage captured by Animal Liberation NSW shows dozens of animals being forced to tightly cram into pens; workers kicking piglets and beating sows with sledgehammers; buckets of dead piglets stored nearby and sows left with open, untreated wounds. Some of this footage can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSXcL7-_D9Y

Whilst intensive-farming of animals, such as cage-egg production and sow stalls, will be banned in the ACT under the parliamentary deal struck between Labor and the Greens this month, farms such as Wally's Piggery, which is in NSW, will be unaffected.

Call on NSW Minister for Primary Industries, Katrina Hodgkinson, to bring an end to these abuses today!

Letter to
NSW Minister for Primary Industries, Katrina Hodgkinson Minster Hodgkinson
I am shocked and highly disappointed that Wally's Pig farm in Murrumbateman continues to operate despite having been found guilty of gross animal cruelty by the RSPCA 3 months ago.

I urge you, as NSW Minister for Primary Industries, to bring an immediate end to the suffering and cruelty that is occurring at Wally's Piggery.
