Current state education testing laws are measuring all kids as if they are neurotypical. These state tests do not account for kids with learning disabilities or special needs. Kids that have special needs often feel anxious, out of place, and question their worth when state testing occurs. I’d love to see these tests banned and more accommodating measures of academic progress than state testing.
