Creekside Market & Tap's Chesire Brewing vendor has hosted live trivia and live music every Thursday and Saturday evening since the spring of 2021.  During these events, they produce excessive noise and noise disturbances as defined by Article III of Cheltenham TWP code:

• EXCESSIVE NOISE: Any sound which constitutes a noise disturbance.
• NOISE DISTURBANCE: Any sound which annoys, disturbs or perturbs reasonable persons with normal sensitivities; or any sound which injures or endangers the comfort, repose, health, hearing, peace or safety of other persons.

Creekside is surrounded by apartments on and adjacent to High School Road.  We residents are unable to enjoy the comfort and peace of our homes two nights each week, as their sound bleeds into our lives. 

Despite numerous noise complaints made to the Cheltenham TWP Board of Commissioners and police over the past year, the bar manager and owners are unsympathetic.  The owners have been made aware of these complaints, and yet they will not take action to be respectful, considerate neighbors.

Until adequate sound deadening has been installed at Creekside, they should not be permitted to host live events, as this is not an essential or necessary function of their business.

Please help your neighbors by signing this petition and consider not supporting Creekside Market & Tap’s Cheshire Brewing vendor.  A business that cannot respect its neighbors does not deserve your money or patronage.
