End Discrimination At Syon Park

There have been a growing number of hate incidents occurring in Syon Park Brentford recently.  Management has refused to act on racism and has even gone as far as to lie to the Police.

Examples of some discriminatory incidents include:

-          An ethnic minority man was attacked by Syon Park staff within the park grounds in what the Metropolitan Police “recorded as a hate crime.” Management refused to provide Police with CCTV footage to assist their investigation.

-          An Asian woman had a dot added to the forehead of her annual pass photograph for Syon Park by a member of staff. Management has not acted.

-   Management assumed two ethnic minority men who entered Syon Park via the Brentford Dock entrance were not in possession of a valid ticket (they were); the entrance was then chained closed, preventing all Brentford Dock residents from entering Syon Park. This was an apparent attempt to deter ethnic minorities from visiting Syon Park.

The signatories of this petition call for the person responsible for these failures (Change.org won't let us name her) to be removed from her position. We also call on TV companies to no longer film at Syon Park until the culture of intolerance ends.
