Every year thousands of animals are subjected to cruel and unnecessary tests in the name of beauty. Animals are put through skin and eye irritation tests with chemicals and force-fed chemicals to monitor side effects and to determine the lethal dose. In fact, 100,000 to 200,000 animals die manually in cosmetic testing labs. Furthermore, these tests are not necessary because the FDA does not require cosmetic products to be tested on animals. And many of these products already have a long history of being safe and effective therefore these tests are useless and inhumane. So let's end these cruel practices "because beauty should be kind".
