Jennings County has long suffered under the misuse of authority by the Jennings County Sheriff's department, the North Vernon police department, and the Jennings County Courthouse. These institutions, meant to protect and serve the people, have instead fostered an environment of corruption and abuse. The citizens bear the brunt of unjust consequences, causing harm to their trust and community. This must stop. Sources from within the local community have shed light on instances of mistreatment and misconduct that have gone unchecked. We call on the State Government and relevant overseeing bodies to investigate and address these allegations. We demand transparency, accountability, and justice.
