300,000 children were married between 2000 and 2018 in the United States. That is an abhorrent number. No children should ever have to be forced into such an abusive relationship. Only six states have ended this disgusting practice. While this is a good start, there is no excuse for a country that prides itself on being "the land of the free" to be such a bastion for oppression of its youth. I hope you support this to end this barbaric practice in our nation.
