Why this petition matters

Anti-Homeless architecture is a classist stain on the beautiful municipality of Jersey City.

In Hudson County, 882 persons experiencing homelessness were counted on a single night by non-profit Monarch Housing Associates. About 56.1 percent of those counted in Hudson County live in Jersey City, the state's second most populated city, Monarch Housing noted. Those experiencing homelessness then look for areas to relax, but face anti-homeless architecture. Anti-homeless architecture then prevents those without a roof over their head from having anywhere to relax.

Help us combat anti-homeless architecture in Jersey City and beyond by singing this petition! Updates will be given as soon as they are available.
