Please let the people of Alberta decide for themselves when and how they want to get into the public domain. Let Albertan's decide if they want to wear a mask. Let Albertan's decide if the want to go to a wedding or funeral or hockey game. To date this year there have been 236 Corona virus deaths in Alberta. Last year there was a total number of deaths in Alberta of around 27,000. Of the 236 deaths year to date, most of the deceased had other health complications and most were over 80. There is no pandemic. If thousands of people were dying from the virus each day, it could be considered a pandemic and then the current practices could be necessary. That's clearly not happening. By this time we all understand the social distancing, those who are at high risk if they get the virus and we all know about the mask.  Let each Albertan decide what steps they need to take to protect themselves from the virus. Some of us will get the virus but statistically 99% will survive.My son, my daughter in law and my grand daughter all came down with the virus. After having flu symptoms for a couple of days they were on the mend. The strict measures put in place to protect the public from this pandemic could be justified when the virus first arrived. We have learned a lot about the virus since then but the Governments around the world have been slow at revising  the regulations and taking a fresh approach based on new information. These regulations have caused many of our citizens to lose their jobs, domestic violence has increased, bankruptcies have increased and the sad thing is none of us have any idea of when these rules will change. Governments can stop all traffic accidents by forcing people not to drive. That would be a solution to traffic deaths but not a good solution. The current rules governing the Corona Virus need to be scrapped......Now!!!
