For weeks, students have been individually asking the team which produces Rocket News at the High School to include subtitles for those who are hard of hearing, have issues processing words, or cannot keep up with the speed of the reporter - Robert Barthell.

Continued requests to add subtitles but refusal to add them for lack of "efficiency" and "it taking too much time" does not justify the many students who need subtitles to understand better the information being distributed by Rocket News. 

Our student body deserves better, especially a media source held accountable for refusing to participate in needed change, which is inherently ableist.
