Fishing cat is schedule 1 species as per wildlife protection Act 1972 found in Krishna wildlife sanctuary which got potential for best habitats for small cat with other rare species found in this Protected Area which needs protection from political encroachments by strengthening Forest dept by more staff and mobility to deal with . Immediate action required to save the species from extinction in PA .
