We the undersigned believe that Chesapeake Bay Subs, LLC dba Jersey Mike’s Subs is putting employees and the general public at risk of contracting, carrying, and spreading COVID-19.  The lack of proper procedures and the lack of clear communication of those procedures to follow when an employee has contracted COVID-19 or has been in contact with a known carrier of COVID-19 is leading to employees feeling unsafe and unethical about continuing working.  The health of the employees and the general population should be prioritized during this global pandemic.  The undersigned ask for the following requests in order to ensure a safe work environment upon returning to employment:

A promise to make the health of all employees and the general public the top priority when introducing and enforcing policies and procedures

A procedure in line with local health department guidelines to follow for employees who have been in contact with an individual that has tested positive for COVID-19

A procedure in line with local health department guidelines to follow for employees who MAY have been in contact with an individual that has tested positive for COVID-19

Clear communication of all policies and procedures related to COVID-19 given to all employees in all positions on the store level
