I was born in Africa and I have been living in Australia since the 80's. I always assumed that I am informed and yet today I found out for the first time about the Berlin Conference of 1884-1885 that locked Africa into the level of poverty we see today.

That is almost nothing compared to what France is doing and has been doing since 1958 through the Pact for continuing colonization, to Francophone African countries.
