Redirect the money raised to rebuild Notre Dame to humanitarian projects

Within 48 hours, more than 800 Million Euros have been pledged by various companies, business tycoons and other groups of people to rebuild the Cathedral of Notre Dame that was badly damaged and almost totally destroyed in a fire on April 16th, 2019.
Although we mourn the loss of such a historical landmark, we believe that this would be the right time to redirect this vast amount of money for humanitarian projects (feel free to discuss in the comments, what you think it could be used for).
At the moment this petition was started, we are not sure whether the power to do this is in the hands of Macron, the City of Paris, the Catholic Church & the Vatican or somebody else. But maybe, whoever has the final say, might be swayed by the voice of the people.

Sign this petition and share it - with your church buddies, pastors & priests, #fridaysforfuture activists, local Antifa, Mouvement des gilets jaunes, people working & volunteering in underfunded NGOs and non-profits trying to make the world a better place, people who are still suffering the consequences of missionization through the Catholic Church, colonialization, people of other faiths & other (read: non-european) descents whose places of worship are burnt down and destroyed without the world being outraged. IF YOU ARE UPSET ABOUT SOME OF THE GROUPS MENTIONED HERE, please open your heart and acknowledge that there are many people fighting for a better and more just world, even if you might not understand them.

We are hoping to translate this into as many languages as possible, please help by providing translations in the comments.

Special treat for Christians who are afraid to have lost such an important place of worship: Acts 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, 49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me?
