Emergency Medicare care For Manus men
0 have signed. Let’s get to 35,000!
The Australian Medical Association have UNANIMOUSLY voted to be allowed to enter the Detention Centre on Manus Island to provide Emergency Healthcare for the Refugees. The government have so far rejected this move to help. After more than 3 weeks of water, and power being turned off, no food, no clean drinking water, or vital medicines, their health is declining day by day. There is a huge range of diseases, injuries and mental distress as a result. Widespread disease and eventual death are inevitable. There have already been 6 deaths on Manus, this is 6 TOO MANY. This is an humanitarian crisis and we cannot sit by and do nothing. These are innocent men, sons, brothers, fathers. It is criminal to let them suffer in this way. This will go down as the most tortured treatment of an oppressed group of people by a developed nation in modern history.
PLEASE sign this petition if you think that this Government should allow the AMA in to help treat the health of these innocent men. Thank you for reading.
