The 2018-2019 school year began a few weeks ago, I attend Alief Elsik High School. A school that is located in Alief Houston Texas, recently the school has made a rule that states that students MUST have a state license, their insurance to their name, and their vehicle to their name to be able to park at the school student lot. This school has never enforced a rule like this and it is unreasonable and unethical for them to enforce it now. The reasons why I say this is because legally there are students that CANT obtain a state license, also insurance under teens name is very expensive. Apart from this you have to meet all 3 requirements to be able to buy a $25 sticker that allows your to park at the school parking lot. It’s ridiculous the amount of parking space there is and I believe it is unreasonable for the district as well as the school staff to enforce this rule. It’s unfair and should not be enforced.
