In a time of the unknown, we should not be required to spend more money and time flying back and forth during the holiday season. Elon expects us to return to campus after Thanksgiving break which can cause individuals to bring potential viruses back with them to campus. What if that causes enough of a spike to force the university to do a stay-in-place lockdown? Why should we have to return to campus for two weeks that we can stay at home? We should be allowed to remain in the safety of our home for the stressful time that is finals week.
