The tiverton high dress code has been a struggle and a popular topic of conversation these past few years, i’ve walked into many classes just to have a teacher scan me up and down to see if they can find something to dress code me for. This needs to stop… Women have just as many rights as do young men, and if our shoulders are distracting to them, maybe their parents should teach them some common custody and respect. There are days with 100°F weather and girls being told to put on a hoodie because their shoulders are showing, this is a serious problem and it needs to be brought to the attention of the school board/ committee.
