Elizabeth Throssell, High Commissioner,

United Nations Commission on Human Rights

Office of the High Commissioner

Palais Des Nations

1211 Geneva 10Switzerland

    We, the Undersigned Persons, demand that you and the Committee address the issues raised before it in the complaint raised to you by Kwasi Seitu, on behalf of himself, the Black population in the Virgin Islands in particular, and Black people within the U.S, regarding its systemic violation of the Human Rights of "Black" people/non-White. We totally reject your claimed "legitimacy," as long as the U.S. is not only allowed to escape U.N. action, but then is allowed to use it as a means of advancing invasion and war. We totally reject the claimed "legitimacy" of this Body, as long as it allows the U.S. to engage in known violations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights such engaging in international kidnapping, torture, indefinite, and illegal imprisonment. That is the definition of slavery, yet the U.S. is being allowed to continue committing this crime against Humanity, in the Virgin Islands, in Cuba, and in America itself on a massive scale.

    Review the complaint, remove U.S. agents and anyone else in your employ that takes it upon themselves to "reject" a compliant and thus, be the arbitrator of complaints, and not this Committee. This arrangement is the same as the system of oppression raised in the complaint, with its built-in lack of accountability, the U.N. is supposed to be the international governing body, yet it does not act as such when it comes to the U.S. and Europe. Demand that the U.S. immediately and unconditionally release the Virgin Islands 3 and all others similarly situated, with reparations, along with a U.N. investigation as to how the U.S. judiciary failed and refuses to comply with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in the mass incarceration, depossession, and displacement of Black people. The maintaining of the facets of slavery, which is in itself a violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that must be arrested and addressed. We the subjects of this crime against Humanity reject any assertion that our testimony as to our oppression in not "reliable," or that there is anything not politically motivated in the struggle between the oppressor and the oppressed.

   The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is supposed to eliminate systems of oppression, particularly old ones, but it appears that the U.S. and its "allies" have co-opted and controls the inner workings of the United Nations. This must be immediately arrested and corrected by this Body, and we are not looking for promises, but the following immediate results:

1. The U.S. be ordered to execute the immediate unconditional release of "the Virgin Island 3" and all others similarly situated, with sufficient monetary award of damages for their resettlement;

2. The U.N. establish a tribunal of the U.S., with a focus on the nature and practices of its judiciary in this matter, and numerous others establishing a consistent pattern of Human Rights violations (Move 9, Mumia Abu Jamal, etc.), the U.S. has always politically imprisoned on a mass scale;

3. The U.N. forcing the U.S. to close Guantanamo Bay, and all other such practices of kidnapping and illegally detaining people, particularly as slaves and indefinitely.
