Veterans with PTSD being treated unfairly in the divorce court system

My name is Juan Ocampos and I am a former Infantry Marine, Combat Veteran going through a divorce and custody battle of a beautiful 3 year old daughter. I am her biological father, I have no record, no history of violence. I have complied with the courts and voluntarily gave in my medical records which they requested. I have nothing to hide and there is nothing in my records that give the courts a reason to use my service connected PTSD against me. I am under the medical marijuana program for combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD. I refuse to partake in the toxic pills that the VA offers. I follow the law and I am a good upstanding citizen. The type that would get out of my car to help you push yours.

So many veterans are going through this ordeal. Their service connected PTSD is being used against them in custody battles only for their children to lose time with co-parent in the process. I am fighting an uphill battle with the divorce court system for a bright and happy future for my daughter. She needs her father in her life and the courts have done nothing but kept me under supervised visits for the past 2 years with only 7 1/2 hours of parenting time a week. I say again that I have no history of violence, I left my wife amicably for the sake of not fighting anymore. My wife's medical records were requested but she denied to present them to the court. The court nor the guardian ad litem DO NOT seem to care about her mental illness but more focused on my service connected PTSD and medical marijuana program which I am proud to say makes me a better person in my life.

My daughter needs her father in her life. Please help me get the attention this needs not just for me but for other veterans fighting the same fight wanting to be in their kid's lives. We have been through enough and only wish to find a life of happiness with our loved ones.
